NYRW Winter 2010 reviews are trickling in

We’re halfway through New York Restaurant Week Winter 2010 and we’re starting to see reviews being posted all over the web.

  • The winners and losers of NYRW 2010 from EaterNY (several restaurants reviewed)
  • Dovetail: Restaurant Week from Peek and Eat makes me so sad that Dovetail was not one of my choices
  • NYRW Restaurant Week Reviews from NYC Menu GirlFig & Olive, Etcetera Etcetera, and Butter.
  • Restaurant Week at Aureole from NYC Tastes
  • David Burke Townhouse for Winter Restaurant Week 2010 from the Indiscriminate Foodie
  • Shawn L. from Yelp reviews Indochine and Artisanal for NYRW Winter 2010
  • Several Serious Eaters review different NYRW Winter 2010 meals
  • My own review of City Crab and Seafood Co. for NYRW Winter 2010

After my trips to Le Cirque, Butter, and Rayuela this week, I will be posting more reviews!

btw mel…smith & wollensky was disappointing
first…the waiter made me feel like he was disappointed in us
for being RW people
they didn’t give us the complimentary bread basket—with not that great bread, may i add–=-till i asked for it halfway through appetizers
the steak didn’t have the flavor and texture i expect from a filet and from a filet from S&W…the sauce on the table tasted like BBQ sauce (yech)
at least the wine was generously poured and the dessert was good
but otherwise…eh
